Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer Starts His Presidency At Grupo RBS

Nelson Sirotsky left the presidency of Grupo RBS at the age of 59in 2017 July. He paved the way for Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer (Duda Melzer), who was the steering vice president as the new president of Grupo RBS. The decision was ratified by the management board members and directors of the company at a meeting held in Sao Paulo. The employees were sent a message to notify them of the news. The Duda Melzer office – that was known as Nelson nephew will now be chief executive. After over 21 years serving as the chief executive officer of RBS, Nelson will dedicate the board of director’s chairperson, an activity that will accumulate with the editorial committee leadership of RBS companies.

In the message that was distributed to the employees, Nelson states the revelation of a planned succession process that has its primary objective to improve the corporate governance of the company. Duda Melzer will wake up the world of business that was conceded in the 90s with his very initial months of management.

Duda Melzer is a member of the third generation of the Sirotsky family and the grandson of RBS founder, Mauricio Sirotsky Sobrinho. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the Catholic University of Pontifical and went on for further studies at the University of Harvard for an MBA degree. He then began his career in the United States before working in the family business and at Delphi, he became the senior financial analyst and the Boxtop media company CEO. He was chosen to attend the Cambridge Institute for family business on the list of leaders. This is a relationship that brings together only 25 members of the new generation of companies and entrepreneurs every year in families around the world, who are considered as examples in society and are business heads.

Nutrimost Files Lawsuit in Federal Court against Healthy Living

Nutrimost filed a lawsuit in Federal Court claiming that its rival, Healthy Living, stole a video promoting a new weight loss program belonging Nutrimost. Nutrimost claims that Healthy living removed all references associated with Nutrimost and replaced those with “Cant Lose Diet”.

It is stated in the lawsuit testimonials by customers of Nutrimost were kept, even that of the author of the diet, Dr. Ray Wisniewski. Both videos claim that because of the technology, a person can lose up to 25 to 45 pounds of weight in 40 days or less. The weight loss programs both claim no harmful drugs are used, you will never feel hungry, and you don’t even have to exercise.

In addition to the above claims, no surgery or hormones are needed to lose weight, and there are no prepackaged meals to eat. It is a program that’s monitored by a doctor and safe.

Healthy Living received a cease-and-desist letter in September, but the video was still shown, although it was shorter than the original version. To date, the video has not been shown since, and Nutrimost has asked the court to continue to keep Healthy Living from ever showing the pirated video again, and has asked for a minimum of $300,000 in damages as a result of the video theft.

Nutrimost is a weight loss company that calls itself the Ultimate Weight Loss System. It’s principal is Dr. Ray Wisniewski, a chiropractor from Pennsylvania who practices what he calls pastoral medicine.

The weight loss system will allow a person to lose 25 to 40 pounds of body weight in 40 days in a manner that’s safely monitored by a doctor. The program also affords the patient not to eat prepackaged meals, use unsafe drugs, or even fell hungry while using the program.

His male-based client list were not shoppers they were business people, and they had one thing on their minds, and that was making money.

Danilo had enough money saved to open a retail company that gave his clients what they wanted. He called his new business Toys for Boys, and the company got the support of many of Danilo’s clients. The companies rival called Healthy Living attempted to profit off of Nutrimost current promotional video. The video was on Healthy Living’s website, cantlosediet.com. Healthy Living copied Nutrimost’s video and replaced Nutrimost references with the “Can’t Lose Diet,” phrase, according to court records.

The Nutrimost System went to great measures to have this video removed from the internet. Healthy Living actually continued to keep the video posted even after receiving a cease-and-desist letter late last year. The company actually just made a shorter version of the same exact video. After much legal work it does appear the video is down for now. Nutrimost is seeking as much as $300,000 for the theft and for what they call the loss of “goodwill and reputation.”

It’s hard to tell, with financial practices, what is and is not underhanded. Sometimes a loan is really a debt extension, while sometimes it’s a lifeline. Context defines everything, and when exploring the context of Kyle Bass’ rather controversial investment decisions, ethical underhandedness is almost always present; even from the very beginning.

Before Kyle Bass was the media personality with the reputation he has today, he worked for Bear-Stearns, one of the top five investment banks on Wall Street prior the 2008 financial collapse. When his employment with Bear-Stearns dissolved, Bass let drop a tip which hit financial news outlets and caused Stearns to go under by the end of the week, being bought out by J.P. Morgan-Chase. Later in 2008, the Great Recession hit, from which Bass substantially capitalized by short-selling sub-prime loans at the right time. No wonder he made it big, he was part of the downfall itself!

It looks like Bass’ manipulation tactic isn’t working, and he’s got to backpedal fast. Either way, his methodology is decidedly underhanded.

The Ranch at Bandy Canyon has a new star chef, Patrick Ponsaty from Toulouse in France. Ponsaty first priority is to transform the downtown Escondido restaurant into a dining destination reminiscent of gites of France. Ponsaty is one of only two San Diego chefs to earn the prestigious Meilleurs Ouvrier de France.

The establishment in which Ponsaty will ply his culinary skills looks eerily similar to a charming 1890’s adobe remade into a popular farm-driven eatery. A plan to redesign the dated dining room is already in the works. The presence of Ponsaty at The Ranch from his previous position as Executive Chef at El Bizcocho at Rancho Bernardo hasn’t gone unnoticed, even though the soft spoken chef is not clamoring for fame.

Some of the trappings to look for in the menu include quenelle of magenta-hued beet Sorbet from Suzie’s Farm; wild boar; locally sought mushrooms and sea scallops placed on lightly truffle-scented carpaccio. The other enrichments to look forward to include Bordeaux’s very own tender canales and cherry-spiked gateau Basque.

Prince took the screen shot and super-sized it to dimensions of a 48-by-65-inch print. Then, he removed her text and inserted his own, and the stolen screen shot was now his without the copyright rules one would figure might matter.

Doe Deere’s lovely face and that of Joshua David McKenney’s 23-inch beautiful doll were now part of some “lazy” art created by Richard Prince and hanging at the New York Frieze Art Fair. The striking print then sold quickly at $90,000.

Both Doe Deere and Joshua David McKenney were shocked, because Prince never approached them for permission to use the screen shot. The spotlight was now on the makeup maven and popular doll maker but not for the right reasons. McKenney, especially, was heartbroken that the other artist had deleted his name from the doll gifted to Doe Deere. In other words, McKenney’s doll had become a prop for the artist’s mission, and everything about the doll, such as being carefully and exquisitely made, was purposely deleted in the process.

Doe Deere and McKenney both feel that an artist should never profit off the back of another fellow artist. It’s a lousy thing to do and renders someone’s work voiceless.
