Disney To Add Pandora To Animal Kingdom

Disney To Add Pandora To Animal Kingdom

It has been announced that Disney will be creating the world of Pandora, the land inspired by the movie “Avatar” to life and will be constructed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. There hasn’t been a date set and construction hasn’t even started, but the crew of talented animators is working hard to figure out a way to get the magical land to life and have people be able to interact with it.

According to an article found on reddit and written by DisneyParks.Com, this project is going to be so extensive and special that many limits will be tested during the creation process. It will make people feel like they are actually there and experiencing the beauty of the Pandoran world.

It was said that after the film came out a few years ago, several fans on WordPress, of the movie became extremely depressed because Pandora doesn’t really exist. It was portrayed so well in the movie and that it will be hard to replicate that into real life, but if anyone can do it, the Disney crew can. The Disney company has been working hard to bring people’s imagination and dreams into reality ever since it was started by Walt Disney and it is good to see that they continue to do so. Once the land is up and ready for people to visit, it will surely be one of the biggest highlights that the theme park has to offer.

New Screenwriter for Red Sonja Movie Reboot

New Screenwriter for Red Sonja Movie Reboot

The reboot for Conan the Barbarian was a complete flop in all regards. However, the studio is still looking a another film from the universe that Conan is in. This film is called Red Sonja. As of right now, the upcoming reboot is getting anew screenwriter to pen the project.

Red Sonja was adapted to film back in 1985 starring Brigitte Nielsen. Schwarzenegger also starred in a smaller role as Kalidor, who might as well have been Conan. However, rights have prevented the use of the name.

Meanwhile, the studio is getting ready to begin production on The Legend of Conan which is not a reboot but rather a return to the other series of Conan movies. Fans like Bernardo Chua (Drinkbettercoffee.com) know that this marks the first time in history where a former series is resumed after a failed attempt at a reboot. This would complete the Conan Trilogy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Arnold will play as an elderly Conan in the upcoming flick.

As for Red Sonya, there is no telling as of right now what direction they are going to take with this character in the upcoming reboot.

Bill O’Reilly Has More Questions To Answer About His News Reporting

Bill O’Reilly Has More Questions To Answer About His News Reporting

O’Reilly’s Account Of A JFK Assassination Related Story Is In Question

Bill O’Reilly has more questions to answer about his news reporting. It seems a liberal watchdog group called Media Matters For America is questioning his story about a friend of Lee Harvey Oswald’s back in 1977. Oswald’s friend, George de Mohrenschildt, had been contacted by Congressional investigators, and O’Reilly found out about it. Bill was a news reporter for a Dallas TV station at that time. George de Mohrenschildt lived in Palm Beach, Florida.

In his book, “Killing Kennedy,” and on his Fox News show O’Reilly claimed he traveled to Palm Beach to interview Oswald’s Russian friend. When de Mohrenschildt’s daughter opened the door for him, O’Reilly heard a gunshot. George de Mohrenschildt committed suicide while he stood at the door. But in 2013, former editor of the Washington Post, Jefferson Morley, said O’Reilly’s story is not accurate. On his blog, Morley claims O’Reilly never went to Palm Beach for the interview.

But Susan McGalla has read  there’s more to the story. An Associated Press report written at the time said a Palm Beach County Sheriff went to de Mohrenschildt’s home the day of his suicide. The sheriff said the only people in the home at the time of his death were two maids, and they claimed they didn’t hear the shot.

Men Have Paralyzed Hands Replaced With Bionic Hands

Men Have Paralyzed Hands Replaced With Bionic Hands

In a new procedure called “bionic reconstruction,” three men had their hands replaced with bionic hands they can control with their minds. The men had all had accidents that damaged the brachial plexus. That’s a bundle of nerves running from the spine to the hand. The men had undergone repeated treatments to try to regain the use of their arms and hands, but those treatments failed.

Dr. Oskar Aszmann of the Medical University of Vienna Austria, who had performed the surgery, reported that the men had some functional nerve fibers remaining — but not enough to drive a flesh-and-blood hand. He thought they might have enough to use a prosthetic hand, though. Aszmann’s prosthetics have a battery built into them. The users charge the hands at night like a cell phone. That means all the user’s nerves and muscles have to do to make the hand move is send the proper signals.

Bernardo Chua has read that Aszman’s patients had to undergo extensive preparations. First, they underwent surgery to have leg muscle transplanted into their arms to bolster the remaining functional nerves. Three months later, the men practiced activating the transplanted muscle while wearing an armband that detected the resultant electricity. They then learned to control a virtual arm.

Aszman then amputated their useless hands and replaced them with the prosthetic hands. One surgeon noted that an advantage of Aszmann’s method is that the doctor can more readily design a prosthesis for greater stability.
Aszmann’s patients did well, and they were soon able to pick up a ball, button a shirt, and pour water. While the procedure restored a lot of their function, the men don’t have a sense of touch in their artificial hands.

Retired Federal Judge Has Second Thoughts About Sending A Marijuana Dealer To Jail For 55 Years

Retired Federal Judge Has Second Thoughts About Sending A Marijuana Dealer To Jail For 55 Years

Judge Paul Cassell Sent 24-Year-Old Weldon Angelos To Jail Under Mandatory Minimum Sentencing Laws

The 1980s war on drugs may have sounded like a good idea, but in hindsight a lot of low-level drug offenders have been sent to prison under the mandatory minimum sentencing law for a very long time.http://abcnews.go.com/US/federal-judge-regrets-55-year-marijuana-sentence/story?id=28869467

Weldon Angelos was one of those offenders back in 2002. The father of two was an aspiring music producer, and he also sold a little weed on the side. Marcio Alaor BMG (Luxo.com) has heard that when the feds were tipped off about Angelos side business, they set up a sting operation. When the sting went down, the undercover agents found a gun, and that was a game changer in terms of sentencing for Weldon. He was sent to jail for 55 years with no possibility of parole for selling $1,000 worth of weed.

Judge Cassell recently said he does think about Angelos. “Gosh, he shouldn’t be there. Certainly not as long as I had to send him there. That wasn’t the right thing to do. The system forced me to do it.”

There are at least 210,000 people serving mandatory sentences in prison for non-violent crimes. The prison system is overcrowded, but we keep adding more low-level offenders to jail for non-violent crimes.

Colorado Teens Shovel Neighborhood Driveways

Colorado Teens Shovel Neighborhood Driveways

A Colorado neighborhood woke up to a one of a kind surprise Sunday morning, as they found all of their driveways had been shoveled. Six teenagers from Centennial, CO decided to pay a service to their friends and fellow residents on the streets they live on to help people out in some bad weather.

According to an article found on reddit and written by 9news.com, over 50 houses had their entire pathways cleared of the snow all the way up to their doors and backyard fences. When people who lived in the neighborhood woke up they saw that they had a sign on their door which read that they had been served. Bernardo Chua (Businessforhome.com) has read that the six youngsters were quoted as saying that they just wanted to get up early before anyone else this weekend and do a favor for the people on their street. They were offered money from some people, but they politely refused. However, when they were offered a warm beverage to help them stay warm while doing their selfless deeds they gratefully accepted.

The Colorado teens said that they did not want anything in return, but that people should just pay it forward someday. After all, these are the kind of things that our world does need more of as kindness never gets old. It is a great thing to have this kind of story on the news as opposed to all the awful things going on in the world.

Igor Cornelsen Makes An Impression On Investors

Igor Cornelsen Makes An Impression On Investors

Investors who use the methods that have been perfected by Cornelsen often end up being very happy investors indeed. He has some simple yet helpful advice for those investors. It all starts with getting rid of the notion that the stock market is like gambling. He believes that this is one of the most flawed theories out there about the market, and he also believes that this could be holding a lot of people back when it comes to getting started with their investing career.

The main difference between those who believe that the market is essentially a casino and those who know that it isn’t is dedication. Those with the dedication to do their research on the market are proven winners. Cornelsen himself had to put in plenty of effort and research to reach the heights that he has been able to make it to. It is not as though anyone came to him and tried to offer him free money. Investors who listen to what he has to say should be well aware of this.

Igor Cornelsen is a self made man. He is a very famous Brazilian investor by simply following common sense and straightforward investing. He does not try to make it any more difficult than it needs to be. It is his view that complication is unnecessary in the world of investing. Those who are attempting to push complication into the process probably have something to gain from keeping people in the dark about their own investing lives. This is a sad and unfortunate situation that comes up all the time.

The fact of the matter is that one has to be disciplined when they are making their investments. They should not be placing money in things that are overly risky. In fact, Cornelsen believes in investing smaller amounts of money in a variety of investments. Doing it this way allows for the investor to be wrong about some of the choices that they have made while they are right on some others. This is a better fate than trying to put all of one’s money into a single investment. Trying to do that is something that often backfires. It doesn’t go well because if those investment choices are wrong, then there is a huge loss of all of one’s investment dollars.

It is time to start considering your own portfolio and how you can shape it into something more profitable. Even those on Facebook can get started right away.

Donations From Levensons To Maryland For Nonprofit Study

Donations From Levensons To Maryland For Nonprofit Study

Bruce Levenson and his wife have been reported to have given over $3 million in seed money to allow the University of Maryland to build a center made specifically for the study of giving. This center is going to teach students how to manage nonprofit companies, or they can learn how to start their own companies when they want to give their money back to the community. PR Newswire has reported this revolutionary donation to a university so that students can learn something that is completely new to many businesses.

The students at the University are not going to be encouraged to throw their money around, but they are going to be encouraged to learn what it takes to run a nonprofit. They are going to get information that is going to teach them to respect the companies that give away money, and they are going to make sure that they are giving their money away the right way.

Most students who come to the school are going to get a new appreciation for the way that nonprofits run. They can learn how to give their money away, and they can learn how to work philanthropy into their business plans.

Bernardo founded his company long ago to offer products to the masses that he could sell in bulk.
