Forefront Capital And Brad Reifler Move To Help Small-Scale Investors

Forefront Capital And Brad Reifler Move To Help Small-Scale Investors

You no longer have to have hundreds of thousands of dollars in income to get invested. Instead, you just need to turn to the right brokers for these services. Currently, an investment firm known as Forefront Capital is offering investment services to those who are in the middle class.

They have opened up opportunities for people in the middle class to start getting invested for as little as $2,500. This is an amount that most can come up with even if they are only making a middle class income. The point is to try to get those with lesser incomes started on their investment journey so that they may save and grow their money for the future.

Forefront Capital is unique in its choice to do this. You do not typically see this kind of activity going on when you talk about investment firms. They generally focus in on the very wealthy who have plenty of income to invest. The same was true of Forefront for most of its history. However, they started to offer more types of investments for those who are not quite as wealthy.

With all of the debt concerns and other financial woes going on in the larger environment, it is great to see a firm that is doing something to try to reverse the tide of that. They really want to help out those who are serious about creating a better financial future for themselves. Therefore, it is easy to understand why this firm is loved and growing.

Brad Reifler has worked hard to create this firm and the opportunities that it proves to the people who put investments into it. Perhaps more investors should take a look at it and see if it makes sense to put their money to work in the firm.

Touching Mother and Daughter Elephant Reunion Four Years Later.

Touching Mother and Daughter Elephant Reunion Four Years Later.

Me-Bai was finally reunited with her mother, Mae Yui ,in the Elephant Park Sanctuary in Northern Thailand. Mae Yui gave birth to a female calf, Me-Bai, in another part of Thailand, over six years ago. Still a calf, Me-Bai was sold into trade so she could give rides to people. The young calf was beaten into submission.Me-Bai didn’t know it, but her mother was also sold into trade, not far from Me-Bai. Me-Bai began to lose weight after 3 ½ years in the trade and was unable to continue carrying passengers. Me-Bai was sent to the Elephant Santuary. She was too young to begin with. Elephants are supposed to stay with their mothers until the calves reach the adolescence, about the age of 11-years-old. At the sanctuary, at first, the elephant was frightened until she got used to her surroundings. Almost four years later, mother and daughter are reunited. If anyone doubts the phrase that an elephant never forgets, they should see these two Asian elephants. Elephants, particularly females, are social animals, like humans. Some doubt the mother and daughter remember each other and are just compatible. The two caressed each other with their trunks, walking, and eating together.

The Elephant Sanctuary is dedicated to rehabilitating the elephants and returning them to the wild. Ricardo Guimarães BMG thinks it is a great idea. The problem is the elephants have become used to humans, a trait that could threaten their survival in the wild.

We All Pay for a Low Minimum Wage

We All Pay for a Low Minimum Wage

Advocates of raising the minimum wage have been saying for some time now that all of society incurs the cost when companies only pay their employees the minimum wage, and a recent study would seem to back this up. This study uncovered the fact that the payment of most public assistance goes to households where at least one person is working. This counters the long standing belief among many that only the unemployed receive these benefits. Gone are the days when one person working a relatively decent job could support a spouse and a couple children. Paul Mathieson knows that is probably no longer happening.

Those who wish to raise the minimum wage in the U.S. point out that if it had been keeping up with inflation over the years it would be nearly $11 an hour now. An individual can now work 40 hours a week and still not earn enough money to make ends meet. This study helps us to understand that this problem is shared by all of us because our tax dollars pay for the public benefits that help those on the minimum wage get by. As long as we are going to pay in one form or another, perhaps it is time to boost this wage even if only by a couple dollars an hour. Someone has to pay for those on minimum wage to survive, and it may as well be their employers.

Boston Marathon Bombing Victim to Run Marathons Again

Boston Marathon Bombing Victim to Run Marathons Again

On Monday, April 15, 2013, Rebekah Gregory ran in that year’s Boston Marathon. Boston likes to have their marathon races on Patriot’ s Day, a holiday that falls on the third Monday of April. She remembers running the race when Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s backpack grazed against her thigh. As she was about to finish the race, the bomb went off.Rebekah Gregory DiMartino underwent 17 operations on her left leg in hopes of saving it. Nineteen months later, she decided to have her leg amputated below the knee. Since November, Rebekah has been trying to get used to a new prosthetic leg. It’s her dream to run in this year’s Boston Marathon.

Part of Mrs. DiMartino’s rehabilitation includes writing a letter to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a person who not only caused her physical pain but has also become her more than year and a half nightmare. She told him he made her afraid of many things, until now. It was very touching for Marc Sparks and others to read. She has a lot of emotional strength and drive to go on. Almost losing her son, Noah, in the bombing has deepened their relationship.
Last month, Rebekah ran her first race since the incident. She participated in the UNESCO Cities Marathon in Northern Italy. Rebekah Gregory Di Martino is sorry she didn’t have the strength to complete the entire 26.2 kilometer, but she enjoyed seeing the beautiful Italian countryside as she crossed the finish line.

Cockpit Recorder from the Germanwing’s Crash in the Swiss Alps Recovered

Cockpit Recorder from the Germanwing’s Crash in the Swiss Alps Recovered

Although the cause of the Germanwing Flight 4U 9525 crash into a remote area of the Swiss Alps on Tuesday has yet to be determined, the cockpit recorder has been discovered. The planes black box still hasn’t been found, however, sounds on the cockpit recorder are being analyzed. While all 150 passengers and crew are feared dead, French President Francois Hollande commended the quick reaction of the rescue workers.

Germany and Spain were hit the hardest with casualties of 72 and 49 respectively. Three British nationals were lost, with the U.S., Australia, Argentina, Iran and Venezuela losing two each of their citizens. Belgium, Columbia, Denmark, Israel, Japan, Mexico and The Netherlands each suffering a loss of one. The airplane was completely destroyed, and debris was scattered among a large remote area in a 6,561 foot altitude area of the Swiss Alps. Because the crash site is located in such an inaccessible expanse, the search will be “extremely long and extremely difficult,” say officials.

Zeca Oliveira (Fluminense.com) has learned that, of the 144 who were passengers aboard the flight, 16 were young German students, who were on an exchange trip along with two of their teachers. The students attended Joseph-Koenig-Gymnasium school in Haltern-am-See, Germany, where their peers honored them on Wednesday by shrouding the steps to the school’s entrance with flowers, candles and prayers. German Chancellor Angela Merkel personally visited Seyne-Les-Alpes, an area near the crash site, where she and French President Hollande and Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy met with recovery teams.

Each of the leaders expressed their sorrow and condolences to the families and friends of those on board the flight. Although none survived the crash, the quick response of the recovery team will allow for the area to be secured, so that the bodies and aircraft pieces can be protected, and an answer to what caused the disaster can be achieved.

Sooner Alumni Helping SAE Fraternity Chef Get Back On His Feet

Sooner Alumni Helping SAE Fraternity Chef Get Back On His Feet

Chef Howard Dixon Lost His Job When The Fraternity House Was Closed

When the University of Oklahoma and the National chapter of SAE shut down the disgraced Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chapter, the Frat House chef lost his ten-year-old job. Howard Dixon made many friends over the years, and some of those friends are helping him get on his feet.

Alumni and students have put together an online fundraising campaign for Howard, and the response has been overwhelming. The goal was to raise $50,000 for Howard, but the online effort raised $30,000 in just two days. People at Anastasia Date (Twitter.com) know that there is also another online fund for the chef, and that fund has contributions of $11,000. Some of he money is coming from men that lived in the house while they attended the University. They say Howard made a lot of friends during the ten years he worked at the Frat house, and they want to repay his friendship especially now.

The men and women donating to these funds know this racist behavior is not the norm on campus, but that fact doesn’t ease the pain the University is experiencing. But in a small way, people are coming together and showing the real character of the university, and that helps everyone at OU.

GOP Losing Latino Vote All by Itself

GOP Losing Latino Vote All by Itself

Latino voters are not buying the GOP’s constitutional argument supporting deportation of undocumented immigrants. It looks like an attachment to a Department of Homeland Security funding bill and it acts like one too.

The House and Senate are reverberating with GOP protests against policies giving work authorization to undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S as children. It’s so bad, another shutdown is looming.

Sultan Alhokair of valiainvestments.com knows that republicans are way off base in their belief that Latino voters will buy the presidential overreach card. Spanish language newspapers are saying the constitutional argument is insincere, and that the Republicans just want to deport as many people as possible.

When questioned about hurting the GOP’s efforts to reach out to Latino voters, most Republicans who are questioned are simply dismissive.

Democrats and immigration advocates only have to sit back and enjoy the GOP losing the Latino vote show.

Tom Rothman May Take the Reigns at Sony

Tom Rothman May Take the Reigns at Sony

The LA Times reports that Tom Rothman may be taking over as Chairperson of the Motion Pictures Group of Sony Pictures Entertainment. The position has been held by Amy Pascal for almost thirty years. In that time she’s become a fixture of the industry. She’s overseen the development and success of such movies as “Groundhog Day”, “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “Men in Black”. However, perhaps most notable is the connections she’s made in that time. Pascal has a reputation as someone who both loves the movie industry and who can really get a project in motion.

When Pascal leaves the position in May to begin her own production company, there will be some big shoes to fill. As such, speculation has focused on people with a similar background. It’s not enough to simply have a good record, it has to be a great one. And it needs to come with a reputation as someone who’s easy to work with. This is why so much attention is now focused on Tom Rothman. He has a positive reputation within the industry. And it’s hard to argue with his record, given that he headed the production of both “Titanic” and “Avatar”. Going by sale numbers, a case can be argued that he’s been the most successful person to hold that position.

However, he left Fox in 2012. The impact he made was still enough that his 18 years with the company are easily recalled by people within the industry. Additionally, in 2013 he was brought in to help boost the Sony’s TriStar film label. The combination of all these factors make him an obvious choice to replace Pascal when she steps down in May.

However, one should keep in mind that this is still heavily based on speculation. Other people have compatible records which might bring them a fair amount of attention from Sony.

Skout Releases Information On Global Friendship Trends

Skout Releases Information On Global Friendship Trends

With Valentine’s Day coming up, February 4, 2015 was International Online Friendship Day, and Skout celebrated by releasing a survey that was conducted with over 54,000 of its members, about friendship trends online. Skout, who is a major player when it comes to online friendships in social media; did a survey with many of its members, in order to find out what type of people are making friends in their online network. Skout allows those from other countries to interact with each other, and many people are taking advantage of the network. PR Newswire reports that Skout released information about who is using its social media network to communicate with others.

When it comes to global friendships, more women, compared to men, are making close friendships online. About 56% of women create friendships online, as opposed to only 44% of men who do the same. It’s also noted that the women have never met these friends in real life, but only have become close with them in an online platform. Furthermore, it’s surveyed that adults under age 30, are more likely to create friendships online, as opposed to those who are over the age of 40. The survey was close with 52% of those under the age of 30, creating friendships online, as opposed to 47% of those over the age of 40.

Funny enough, things have obviously changed, because many used to say that everyone should be aware of people online, because they are not honest. The surveys show that 60% of those who participate in online social media trends, tell the truth about their lives, compared to when they are in person with their friends. Many like to also discuss their sex life online, and this may be because it’s easier to discuss it with someone who will give their honest opinion.

FreedomPop Makes Debut in Mobile World

FreedomPop Makes Debut in Mobile World

FreedomPop has entered the Mobile World offering data, voice, and text through popular providers Clearwire and Sprint. This one of a kind, revolutionary wireless internet and mobile phone service provider fresh out of Los Angeles, California is proving to be a threat to other mobile providers with its bargain prices.

FreedomPop has recently increased its visibility on the cell phone service map by introducing a WiFi plan available to smart phone and tablet users for the low price of only $5 a month. Users who buy this plan will be able to enjoy as much text, data, and calls as they please without worrying about going over each month.

FreedomPop began its attempts to take over the mobile carrier scene by offering basic cellular data and voice plans free to its users. This alone has caused many people to notice FreedomPop and look into its services. However, the company has recently added a much more enticing deal – their $5 a month WiFi service. This plan allows users unlimited access to WiFi through over 10 million hot spots through out the U.S. This recent offer by FreedomPop could put them on the map in a big way, and could also cause a blow to other carriers that make their users pay premiums to get WiFi. FreedomPop’s strategy is based around the idea that users spend most of their time on their phones using the internet, so offering them an extremely cheap way to access the internet may be the best way to attract mobile users to their company.

The WiFi service will be available to users in the Android app store, with an iPhone option coming shortly. Users will be able to gain access to WiFi at many popular locations such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Best Buy, and Starbucks. This service is an enticing offer for users who are not currently with a cell phone carrier or are looking to switch carriers, as switching to FreedomPop can be significantly cheaper for them. This $5 per month WiFi offer from FreedomPop can also be a no brainer choice for people who own cell phones that they no longer use. By purchasing a $5 monthly WiFi plan for an unused cell phone, they can add at least a little value to that old phone that they don’t want to shell out extra money each month to add to their carrier.

For more information about FreedomPop, be sure to check out their official website. If you’re an Apple user, you can download their free app here.
