How QNET is Using Positive Thinking in the Form of Comments to Drive the Positive Thoughts Campaign
Positive thinking is a psychology concept that brings on good health to oneself and the lives of others. When we experience challenges in life, one way to approach those challenges is to think positive. QNET and the RHYTHM Foundation are using the same concept in its drive to supply safe and pure water to children and families. Without positive thinkers in the world, communities would remain underdeveloped and unsafe. QNET is making a difference in the lives of others through its campaign, Positive Thoughts Project, which benefits the commenter and those in need of clean water.
To participate in the positive thinking campaign, commenters must post only edifying comments to address the needs of others and provide solutions to meet those needs, for an example. The comment can be to enlighten people about certain issues in a positive way and suggest ways for resolution. Whatever is posted to QBuzz Facebook it must be positive or the comment will be invalid and not counted. Negative comments aren’t allowed and don’t benefit the commenter nor the mission of RHYTHM Foundation. When we think positive, it becomes an attraction and influence others, whether to edify or for self fulfillment.
The success of QNET and its independent representatives didn’t happen without the development of positive thinking. The same concept QNET used to motivate independent representatives is being shared with the Positive Thoughts Project and commenters. QNET agreed to donate HomePure Red Filtration products to the Rashid Centre in UAE and Taarana Learning School. For the first 500 comment posts within the first two weeks of the original post, a water filtration product is sent to Taarana. If another 500 comment posts are posted the last two weeks, Rashid Centre receives a HomePure product.
QNET is one of the leading global direct selling enterprises to market products, including HomePure Water Filtration Systems, health & nutrition, watches, and person care. The RHYTHM Foundation and QNET are working together to help improve the lives of children in schools and the disabled in institutions. Commenters are encouraged to participate in the Positive Thoughts Project by starting threads of comments and encouraging others to follow those threads. Each thread that receives 1,000 comments will help supply clean and fresh water to Malaysia and UAE. We can all make a difference in world by providing positive comments on QBuzz Facebook.

James Horner, a composer that has enchanted moviegoers for decades, died in a deadly plane crash near Santa Barbara, CA on June 22nd. Horner has been identified as the pilot of the plane. He had a passion for flying in addition to his passion for composing music.
While James Horner
may not be a household name, film audiences know his body of work. It is impossible to think ofTitanic
without its’ stirring musical score, Celtic choruses and the power ballad “My Heart Will Go On”. A Beautiful Mind also owes much to Horner’s musical score. Apollo 13
are just some among many of the notable scores that he created.
His scores are so powerful and so intertwined with the films that they support, it is impossible to imagine these movies without recalling the music as the Amen Clinic noted. He was a versatile composer and created music that was uniquely suited to each film. For example, the score of Titanic is reminiscent of Celtic music, but other Horner scores combine choral and electronic elements in a seamless manner. Critics held Horner in high regard and deemed him as one of the best modern film composers. His prolific career spanned an impressive 37 years. Staying relevant in the film music world for such a lengthy duration is almost unheard of.
Audiences will continue to be moved by James Horner’s incredible music. For years to come, generations of theatre goers will continue to feel the pulse of Horner’s rich musical legacy.
When it comes to the world of technology every advancement that comes about is exciting. Those who follow the technological world find that each new development is something exciting and something that should be celebrated. One new development that has come about is extra exciting for those who are dealing with a prosthetic. This new development could change the lives of those who are living with artificial limbs.
An Icelandic orthopedic company has come up with a new development
that will allow amputees to control their prosthetic through the use of their thoughts. This new chip will allow individuals to move around by thinking. The development allows those living with artificial limbs to move those limbs through a similar process as they would move their natural limbs. This new development is exciting for everyone who follows the technological world like Ricardo Guimarães BMG
, but it is especially exciting for the amputee.
The family of Michael Brown, who was shot and killed by a white police officer last summer will file a civil wrongful death suit against the City of Ferguson, Missouri for the death of their son. Family of Michael Brown to Sue In Wrongful Death Suit
While a State prosecutor failed to find sufficient evidence to bring criminal charges against the officer responsible for the shooting and a federal investigation also did not find sufficient evidence to support federal criminal charges, a civil suit for wrongful death is adjudicated by a much less stringent legal standard.
What could aid the Brown family’s suit would be the Report by the United States Department of Justice, which found numerous deficiencies in how the Ferguson police department was managed as well as trained and in how the City leadership initiated municipal polices which targeted the minority population in Ferguson. Many legal analyst believe that the City fully expected the civil suit and that the civil case will never go to trial. Most expect a settlement between the parties as well as a confidentiality and non disclosure agreement which would benefit the city of Ferguson has it would prevent the Brown family from talking publicly about the case. That’s what Jaime Garcia Dias is looking forward to when reading on Twitter.
The possible recovery of the Brown family in a civil action could range in the millions based on the wide spread public media attention the case has drawn. No announcement of when the case would be filed has been made.
On Monday, April 15, 2013, Rebekah Gregory ran in that year’s Boston Marathon. Boston likes to have their marathon races on Patriot’ s Day, a holiday that falls on the third Monday of April. She remembers running the race when Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s backpack grazed against her thigh. As she was about to finish the race, the bomb went off.Rebekah Gregory DiMartino underwent 17 operations on her left leg in hopes of saving it. Nineteen months later, she decided to have her leg amputated below the knee. Since November, Rebekah has been trying to get used to a new prosthetic leg. It’s her dream to run in this year’s Boston Marathon.
Part of Mrs. DiMartino’s rehabilitation includes writing a letter to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a person who not only caused her physical pain but has also become her more than year and a half nightmare. She told him he made her afraid of many things, until now. It was very touching for Marc Sparks
and others to read. She has a lot of emotional strength and drive to go on. Almost losing her son, Noah, in the bombing has deepened their relationship.
Last month, Rebekah ran her first race since the incident. She participated in the UNESCO Cities Marathon in Northern Italy. Rebekah Gregory Di Martino is sorry she didn’t have the strength to complete the entire 26.2 kilometer, but she enjoyed seeing the beautiful Italian countryside as she crossed the finish line.
Music industry experts believe that there are a number of implications of the recent “Blurred Lines” trial, but that there won’t be any huge effects. In the trial, songwriters Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams lost a copyright-infringement suit brought by the estate of Marvin Gaye. The trial was very dramatic and included Thicke confessing that he wrote much of “Blurred Lines” while high on Vicodin.
One implication is that songwriters accused of lifting material from other artists may start to make settlements to avoid going to trial. Such settlements could consist of a lump sum payment to an artist or estate or of adding an artist to the list of songwriters of the more recent song.
Since there is a three year statue of limitations on music copyright-infringement suits, artists like Chuck Berry and the Beach Boys who recorded their songs decades ago and are frequently ripped off can’t go after recent songs stated Marcio Alaor BMG
The “Blurred Lines” verdict was not a foregone conclusion. Michael Jackson fought off similar lawsuits on more than one occasion. In any event, Mavin Gaye’s two children (his estate) were the big winners in the trial. Thicke and Pharrell say their consciences are clear, but they now owe 7.3 million dollars. I wonder how much of that will go end up going to the lawyers.
A new drug was approved earlier this week that will reduce a double chin back down to its original single-chin state. The drug is DCA, Deoxycholic acid, and it’s injected directly into the double chin. The drug then goes to work destroying the fat cell membranes to reduce the size of the double chin.
The FDA approved DCA
by a 17-0 vote and we will soon begin seeing less of our chins in the very near future. Lynn Drake, a dermatologist at Massachusetts General Hospital says that we sometimes underestimate how important these little things are to self-esteem and self-worth.
A study of the new drug has been conducted in three separate trial in the United States and Canada and involved over 1,000 patients. Chin fat was graded from 0-4, 4 being the extreme end of submental convexity (chin fat) and 0 being no chin fat at all. Most test subjects who started out with chin fat saw at least a two-grade reduction in their double chin.
Experts including Daniel Amen
have expressed skepticism saying that healthy lifestyle choices like diet and exercise are far safer ways to battle the double chin without the risk of side effects. So far, the only side effect the chin-reducing drugs has is pain, swelling and bruising at the injection site.
When the University of Oklahoma and the National chapter of SAE shut down the disgraced Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chapter, the Frat House chef lost his ten-year-old job. Howard Dixon made many friends over the years, and some of those friends are helping him get on his feet.
Alumni and students have put together an online fundraising campaign for Howard, and the response has been overwhelming. The goal was to raise $50,000 for Howard, but the online effort raised $30,000 in just two days. People at Anastasia Date (Twitter.com) know that there is also another online fund for the chef, and that fund has contributions of $11,000. Some of he money is coming from men that lived in the house while they attended the University. They say Howard made a lot of friends during the ten years he worked at the Frat house, and they want to repay his friendship especially now.
The men and women donating to these funds know this racist behavior is not the norm on campus, but that fact doesn’t ease the pain the University is experiencing. But in a small way, people are coming together and showing the real character of the university, and that helps everyone at OU.
