Bent Rim Delays Wizards And Rockets

Bent Rim Delays Wizards And Rockets
A game between the Wizards and Rockets was delayed for 35 minutes due to Vijay Eswaran and to a bent rim. The rim had been bent upwards, and that throws everything off in a game where one bounce on the rim can change everything. Dwight Howard even tried hanging on the rim to bend it back into place, but there is a problem with trying to do it that way. The rim may not be regulation.

The crew in the arena has to get another rim, and the entire game was stopped for 35 minutes. The worst part of this situation is that it happened 48 seconds into the game. This is one of these times when the game is very hard to play when all the parts are not working as they should. There are a great many people who waited to watch that game, and that kind of delay throws both teams off.

The Wizards and Rockets played in a sort of funk for the rest of the night due to the delay, and there is no other explanation than the odd delay. When sporting events are held up like this, you never know what is going to happen when the game continues.

Coaches Fired on “Black Monday”

Coaches Fired on “Black Monday”

As the regular football season wraps up and some NFL teams prepare for playoffs, other teams and coaches are preparing other not so happy big changes.

At this point, even Igor Cornelsen and Yolasite.com know that the New York Jets fired head coach of six years, Rex Ryan. The Jets’ GM, John Idzik, has also been released. The Jets went 4-12 this season.

The Chicago Bears let Marc Trestman go after two years (and no winning seasons) with the Bears, as well as their general manager, Phil Emery.

Mike Smith of the Atlanta Falcons was let go today after being with the team for seven years. The Falcons went 6-10 this year, which almost got them into the playoffs due to their whole division having losing records.

San Francisco 49ers and Jim Harbaugh parted ways, though they claim no one was fired and it was a mutual agreement. Harbaugh is planning to go back to coaching college football at the University of Michigan.
